I collected and posted some sentences to my Facebook status last year. I guess that these sentences are not so interesting for native English people, but they are interesting for me who is Hungarian. Some of them are very difficult for me. Yes, difficult. It's funny, isn't it? I mean, not difficult to understand at all, but very tough to CREATE them if I have to do it alone.
"I'm going to make you wish you'd never been born." "...there was something inside me, a part of me that I wasn't even sure I liked, that made me feel that it was my duty..." "I am whoever you want me to be." "...I suppose there must have been something inside me that knew what I was doing." "You have got to get me out of this." "I wanted her to be how she used to be, and me to be how I used to be." "A number of the individuals that we suspect were either involved in or have information about the attack on Lucy and Ben have recently been subjected to varying degrees of assault." "There's always two sides to everything." "It's not a decision that I should be making for you." "It's just been so nice having you take care of me." "May I be excused?" "What had she hit him with?" "I've been right not to cry." "Where do you suppose they were going?" "He asked me to ask you to visit him." "You've got nothing to be sorry for." "It is better to be smarter than you appear than to appear smarter than you are." "Where did you say you were when it happened?" "But there’s no one here but me." "At least it is worth a try." "I was pissed off at your party last night when I went to take a piss and I saw the toilet full of pissed people." "If you were stuck on a desert island what three things would you take?" "It's funny how you don't appreciate a thing until you're about to lose it."
