Let's talk about me! Part 1

Because this is the easiest topic for me. :)
I was born in Hungary. I am 45 years old.
I spent my childhood in a very small village named Kincsesbánya. This is not a typical village, it was similar to a small city. At that time we had a lot of urban objects, e.g. culture centre with cinema and library, medical practice with dentist and pharmacy, open air swimming pool, elementary school with a huge gymnasium, two mini-markets, grocery and so on. Don't forget, we were under Soviet rule and influence, and our whole existence was focused on developing the communist dream. This is the reason why we didn't have a church and this is still the case. It was a miners village. People didn't cultivate the land and did not keep any animals. My father was a miner, he worked in the mines under ground for many many years. The mine closed down several years ago, because the levels of bauxite were exhausted. (This mineral is necessary to make aluminium.) The communist dream is also over and of course the village is totally different now. I am so sorry, but I didn't find any information about my village in English, only in Hungarian.
The biggest event in our village was Miner's Day, we celebrate this on the first week-end in September. During my childhood it was a really big party with carousel, shooting gallery, roller-coaster, miners marching band, famous artists from the Capital and the whole nine yards. The miners were given cash prizes and awards, everybody was happy and pleased. Nowadays it is not so big a deal but the village still celebrates this day.
